and at this very desk

of a war-wary world.

the war to end wars."

on the hard realities
of great power politics.

that the war in Vietnam

An earlier military
investigation had been started

in April 1968 by
Calley's own brigade

which claimed no
evidence of foul play.

Upon discovering this cover-up,

the Army ordered a
