and hung the stars around in different places.

And then when he flew over the land,

he dropped all the water he had stolen.

It fell to the ground

And then Raven flew on.
火炬的黑烟,燻到牠白色的羽毛上
The smoke from the fire he was carrying blew over his white feathers
使其变成黑色
and turned them black.
牠的鸟嘴被烫到时,牠就把火炬丢掉
And when his bill began to burn, he dropped the fire.
乌鸦的白色羽毛被燻黑过后就变不回洁白无瑕
Raven's feathers never were white again once they'd been blackened by the smoke.
所以乌鸦才会是黑色的
And that is why Raven is a black bird.
