Let me tell you a little story.
在成长时我是一名出色的水球运动员
When I was growing up, I was an amazing water polo player.
当大二时我已经是队里的耀眼球员了
When I was a sophomore, I was already the star of the team.

So the coach asked me if I wanted to be the captain.

Now I thought that I had lost my chance at being captain forever.
