It kicks them out to the cortex, where they strengthen or weaken,

depending on how often you visit them.

Every time you access a memory,
神经元被激活记忆就加深了
neurons are activated, and that memory grows stronger.
反之一个记忆被忽略的太久
But ignore a memory for too long,
那就会永远忘记了
and you may lose it forever.
