By the 9th of August, the Soviet Union is finally at war with Japan.

Within hours, a second atomic bomb is dropped, on Nagasaki.

Even at that point, there were still elements in the Japanese military who had wanted to fight on.

Among that desperate group is Admiral Takijirō Ōnishi,
