在冰壶运动中 两个队伍各四人互相对抗
In curling, two teams of four face off against each other.
比赛的目的是在冰场上
The object of the game is to slide granite stones

down a sheet of ice towards a painted target of rings

The team with the stone closest to the button

follow the rock and sweep with their brooms.
刷冰有两个作用
Sweeping will do two things:
它能减少冰壶球滑行的曲度 保持冰壶球直行
it will limit the amount of curl and keep the rock straighter,
或当投掷力度不够时 增加滑行距离
or make it go further if it hasn't been thrown hard enough.
最后两球由主将投掷
The final two stones are thrown by the skip,
每局比赛 每队都会分别投掷八个球
with each team throwing eight stones per end.
每一局的最后一球被称为"决胜球"
The final stone thrown in the end is called "The hammer."
