Some are... ethereal monsters
有些是虚无缥缈的怪物
that feed off our souls and push us to do evil.
以我们的灵魂为食推动我们去做邪恶之事
Others are beasts from Hell that could slice you in half
另一些是来自地狱的野兽爪子一挥
with a single swipe of their claw.
就能把你劈成两半
You would nod your head and say you understand,
你会点头说你明白
because I'm a priest.
因为我是牧师
You expect me to say these things.
我说这些东西都在你意料之中
Things that might be metaphorical and not literal.
这些东西可能都是比喻而不是真的
But what if I weren't a priest?
但如果我不是牧师呢？
What if I told you all this as a layman?
如果我是以俗人身份对你说这些呢？
You would think that either I was a madman or a prophet.
你会认为我要么是疯子要么是先知
And these days, it's very hard to believe in prophets.
这年头很难相信有先知
