For buoyancy, he's ditching the simplicity of the water jugs

We take a piece of sheet metal and clamp it between two massive plates of steel.

We've cut out an almond-shaped hole in the top plate

Now, the first and most obvious one is that the pontoons are tuna-shaped,

So, this is our bike.

Note the rack-and-pinion steering and the engine high up on the back.
