那么 可以肯定的是 Agnes Parker就是送信人
So, safe to conclude Agnes Parker was the courier,
给Constance Treadwell和她的上尉做信使
ferrying letters between Constance Treadwell and her "Captain".
然后在1932年那个聚会的当晚
And then, on the night of the party in '32,
迈索尔钻石被盗...
the theft of the Mysore Diamond...
Agnes被杀
Agnes is murdered.
事实摆在眼前 但信使本人
Wildly circumstantial, but the messenger,
是因为撞见Ludwig伯爵偷钻石所以被谋杀?
murdered by Count Ludwig because she found out about the theft?
她知道得太多了 伯爵便将她藏尸于地下室
She knew too much, the Count buries her in the crypt,
很容易让人错以为是Agnes偷了钻石
and, of course, everyone assumes that Agnes has stolen the diamond.
多年后 两个偷♥情♥的人相继辞世
And then, years later, the two lovers dead themselves.
或者说是被杀害
Or murdered.
那个恶心的汤到底是怎么回事...
That wretched soup. Which begs the question...
大家都喝的同一锅汤
How can the same dish kill one of us

while provoking mere unpleasantness in the rest?

The foxgloves tossed into the soup by the killer

to convince us that Miss Treadwell's death was an accident.

But, in fact, she was poisoned by something else.
