So I bet she's very glad to find them safe and sound,
and happy to see her.

The next time we catch up with Petacca,
she's still trying to find food, but the cubs have other ideas.
但是幼狮却有其他计划
牠们玩起捉迷藏
They're playing a great game of hide and seek,
每次找到彼此时，牠们就会开始打闹
and every time they find each other they just charge around.
牠们就是趁这个时候 学习并练习狩猎技巧
This is when they learn and practice their hunting skills.

BERTIE: Seeing pumas here is not the problem,
it's keeping up with them.

What an unbelievable wildlife encounter.

Frost and Breeze like staying close to mom,

but they're starting to hunt live prey for themselves.

Small hares won't be enough though,
they must learn to bring down guanaco.

It's been several days without a big meal,
and the longer Petacca goes hungry,

To raise those cubs up to adulthood,

It's just so magical to see Petacca again.

She's trying to block his path to the cubs,

he's trying to go to the cubs.

Cubs are running, cubs are running.

Male pumas patrol the territories of several females.
遇到非亲生幼狮时
When they encounter cubs that aren't theirs,
场面可能就会很难看
things can get ugly.
这下问题大了
This is a real, real problem,
那头公狮不是这些幼狮的父亲 我们知道父亲
that male is not the father of these cubs, we know the father,
毛色更深，这只是金色的
he's a darker individual, this one's really blonde.
这头公狮会试图杀害佩塔佳的幼狮
That male will try and kill the cubs of Petacca because if

he can kill them he'll bring her back into heat,
牠就能让母狮发♥情♥，生下自己的后代
and then he can father his own cubs.
(growling)

During their first year of life this is

one of the biggest threats to these cubs, a big male.

DIEGO: If she wasn't here the cubs would have no chance.
(growls)

BERTIE: I think he's giving up.

Well, it looks like the cubs have got to safety,

they're far away.

Bigger and stronger than any big scary male puma.

She's back with the cubs now,

and the cubs look very pleased to see her.

Petacca's leading the cubs away,
and everyone is safe...
