一个剧本不过是一阵空气
A play is but a puff of air,
演员们散发着臭气的呼吸给了剧本生命
a player's stinking breath doth give it life,

but no sooner is it spoke than 'tis lost

amid the burps and fartle-barfles of the groundlings.

让叙事诗看起来非常有上个世纪的感觉

I do worry about
无法激发他们的想象力的年代
how their brains will develop
我真的很担心
with so little variation

of stimulus to challenge their imagination.

The point is, sonnets are
才是孩子们该挖掘的东西
what the kids are digging and ever shall.
这就是我一度放弃写剧本
Which is why I have, for a time, abandoned drama
改写诗歌♥的原因
and switched to churning out poems.

I thought I'd never get them finished.
最后一句话我挣扎了一上午
I've been struggling over this last one all morning.
最后就是押不到韵
Couldn't get the final rhyme.
所以你放弃了吗? 可能是最好的出路
So you gave up? Probably best.
我根本没放弃 有木有
I didn't give up at all.
最后的押韵我写出来了 而且非常完美
I found my final rhyme, and it's genius.

"明白"并没有和"爱"押韵
Except "Prove" Doesn't actually rhyme with "Love".

要让"明白"和"爱"押韵
For "Prove" To rhyme with "Love",
你得说"明百" 不过那简直就是垃圾
you'd have to say "Pruv", which would be just rubbish.
或者你可以说"爱清"
Or you could say "Loove".
