The birds are currently in the pool getting their last swim with us.

The next swim for these birds will be out in the wild.
全新的世界
Something new.

All they've known is these four walls.

So, I'll have to go in the pool, get them out, and start feeding.

It's freezing.

But it's for the birds.

But wrangling penguins isn't easy.

Just makes it all worthwhile.

And then into the box.

198 has been safely packaged.
准备派送啦
Now he's off for delivery.

Okay.
驾车去海滩需要两个小时
It's a two-hour drive back to the beach…
四个月前
where, four months ago,
198号♥与其他企鹅卵在那里获救
198 and the other eggs were rescued.

It's that time.

This is the moment we've been waiting for.

It is quite windy today, but hopefully, the birds will be fine out there.

Around 2,000 penguins live on this beach.

Dressed up in their adult feathers,

they look very different to the teenagers from the rescue center.

They've had a soft life with us, and this is it, this is the wild.

Just as they would in the wild,

198 and friends will head out into the ocean

without any adult supervision.

But first, they need to find out what exactly an ocean is.

Sometimes birds aren't keen to enter this wild new world.
需要勇者带头
And it takes one brave one to lead the way.

This time, it's the smallest.

198号♥几乎瞬间冲了出去
198 took off almost immediately.
“我走啦”
"I'm out of here."
“后会有期 多谢照顾” - “谢谢”
"Never gonna see you again, thanks." - "Thanks, guys."
好吧
Okay.
它们肯定很害怕
Must be scary.
毕竟从未见过海滩
To think, they've never seen the beach.
我是骄傲的企鹅妈妈
I am a proud chick mum.
这是我的孩子 他将奔向自然
This is my baby going off into the wild.
老实说 我没想过 黑脚企鹅198号♥能坚持到今天
I didn't think AP198 would make it to today, to be honest.
这一切付出都有了回报
And it just makes it totally worth it.

Thanks to their efforts,
