that quietly blankets our forests.
苔藓 非常美丽
Mosses, as beautiful as beautiful as they may be,
不说我们的语言
don't speak our language.
他们不像我们那样体验世界
They don't experience the world the way we do,
所以为了理解他们
so in order to understand them
我不得不采取不同的策略
I've had to adopt a different strategy.

I've had to engage in a conversation.
不只是听 不只是说
Not just listening, not just talking,
只是一次谈话
but a conversation.

Stories about the huge and the tiny,

the light and the dark, the fear and the joy,
过去和现在
the past and the present.
