CRISTINA: A sea turtle can hold its breath under water for up to seven hours.

So, when you see the same turtle popping its head up

you know, they clearly are not just breathing,

they're smelling for something, they're sniffing.

Turtles are one of the few animals that can smell both in water and air.

That's why they're popping their noses out.
