In March 2020, a massive earthquake shook Zagreb to its core

The north spire was damaged in the tremor too.

Engineers can't afford to let the weakened structure collapse,

so they are gearing up to execute an astonishing plan.

They're going to remove the entire tip for repairs

and the tip reconnected with barely a sign that it was ever blown up.
