outside of a laboratory setting,

invisible to the outside user,

and give persons with spinal cord injury
有能力完成他们自己的任务
the ability to perform tasks on their own,
让他们更独♥立♥
to increase their independence,
让他们活得更好
to increase their quality of life.
我相信我们可以有能力掌控大脑
I believe that we can harness the power of the brain
有能力去掌控电脑
and harness the power of computers
战胜我们所面对的最关键的障碍
to overcome some of the most critical limitations we face.
我们正在努力
We are walking down this path
跟科技融为一体
of merging with our technology.
我们对脑部的洞悉
The insights we make with the brain
会让我们每一个人重新思考人生
will invite all of us to ask questions of ourselves
这会动摇人们对于自我认知和终极意义上
that challenge our deepest held beliefs
广为接受的观点
on identity and purpose.

So what does it mean to be human?
对我来说 意味着我们可以成为自己喜欢的样子
To me, it means we can become anything we want.
