竟会信这毫无凭据的话
that I would believe a story like that without proof?

What kind of opinion must you have of me

to believe I'd be so easily duped?

我整整两夜没合过眼
I haven't slept for two nights.
几乎没吃过东西
I've barely eaten.
能回到这里已经不容易了
It was all I could do to come back at all.

去坟墓那里自己去看
Go to the tomb and see for yourself.
亲眼验证
See with your own eyes.
除非看见他手上的钉痕
Unless I see the nail marks in his hands,
用我的指头触到
put my finger in them,
除非我亲手摸到他肋旁的伤口
unless I put my hand in the spear wound itself,
否则我绝不相信
I will not believe.
你以为他死了以为这一切都完了吗
You think he's dead and this is finished?

before the stench attracts more questions than rats.
他身上有钉刑的伤痕
He has the wounds from the crucifixion --
手脚还有肋上
Hands, the feet, and the side,
额头上有荆棘刺伤
thorn marks on the forehead
而且后背上全都是
and the welts from the lash
鞭笞伤痕都是新伤
across his back, all fresh.
但这不是那拿撒勒人
But this is not the Nazarene.
我说让你把拿撒勒人的尸体找来
I told you to bring me the Nazarene's body,
你反而找来这么一具
and you produce this...
被谋杀的残破尸体
mutilated, murdered carcass!
只要你说这是拿撒勒人
People will take him for the Nazarene
人们就会信这真是他
if you tell them it's him --
而如果你吊的距离离地面够远
And if you hang it a good distance from the ground,
场面一定极为震撼
the resemblance will be striking.
万一拿撒勒人的尸体真的找不到了
And in the event that the Nazarene's body is not found,
何不用此法以假乱真
isn't this an alternative?
我可不能冒被指控
I cannot risk being accused of
精心策划欺瞒国民骗局的风险
orchestrating a fraud to deceive our nation.
不幸的是民众并不如你想的那样愚蠢

他们什么都没有做错
They've done nothing wrong!

You know, some men hesitate

before striking a female under interrogation.

If his own mother doesn't know,

Why are you helping us?
历史会决定究竟你我的方法
History will determine whether your path or mine
哪个会把罗马人赶出犹太地区
will drive the Romans from Judea.
但眼下他们的敌人就是我们的朋友
In the meantime, an enemy of theirs is a friend of ours.
我让我的朋友去城门了
I told my friends to make their way to the city gate
为了出城想办法去加利利
so we can find a way out to Galilee.

There are fewer soldiers there.

We can help.
不能杀人
Not by killing.
不像占领者我们只有迫不得已才杀人
Unlike our occupiers, we only take life as our last resort.
还有很多人摇摆不定
There are many who are unsettled
就看你跟拿撒勒人比谁跟彼拉多更亲近
by how close you've been with Pilate over the Nazarene.
他们害怕他是个你无法控制的盟友
They fear it's an alliance you can't control!
大祭司必须要能在
The High Priest must maintain
左右总督和联合总督控制人♥民♥之间
a delicate balance between influencing the governor
保持一种微妙的平衡
and joining forces with him against our people!
要是人♥民♥像我们想的那么温良就好了
If only our people were as benign as we might wish.
他们是觉得处死那位犹太同胞
Do they think I consulted with Pilate
是我跟彼拉多商量出的决议吗
over the execution of a fellow Jew likely?
到现在我都还不确定这到底对不对
Even now, I question whether it was the right course of action.
但我已经做出了决定
But I made a decision.
那你就该像个有信念的领导者一样
And they will see you standing by it
坚持自己的决定
like a leader of conviction.
坚定的信念
Strong resolve
是领导的基础父亲
is the bedrock of leadership, father,
而非对大众意愿的轻易妥协
not the easy appeasement of the public will.
您不能进去大人留步
Don't go in there! Sir, please!
你先唆使他们处决了一个无辜的传道者
First, you instigate the execution of a harmless preacher,
然后又亵渎我的墓穴
then you desecrate my own tomb
连个死人也不放过
to interfere with a corpse!
你凭什么这么为所欲为
By what authority do you behave like this!
没有人去打扰那具尸体约瑟
No one's interfered with the corpse, Joseph.
要是有人亵渎了你的墓穴
And if your tomb's been desecrated,
那也不是我的人干的
it wasn't by anyone associated with me.
你要灭犹太的星星之火
You've extinguished a small Jewish flame
却想用罗马之油来压灭它
by smothering it with a Roman oil.
该亚法你会引火烧身的
You may yet get burned by this, Caiaphas.
