许多人见到你雇佣魔鬼疗伤
Many here have seen you employ demons to heal
还称其为神的作为
and call it the work of God!
许多人听说你要拆毁圣殿
Many heard you say you would destroy the temple
又在三天内建起新的
and in three days build another.
有人在公会前作证
Some testified here before the sanhedrin
说你有过此番言论
that you said this.
你要如何辩解
How do you respond?
你要拒绝回答吗
Are you going to refuse to answer?
你究竟是不是弥赛亚
Are you or are you not the Messiah?
我是
I am.
你们必看见人子
And soon you will see the son of man
坐在神的右边
sitting at the right hand of God.
你怎敢称他的名
How dare you speak his name?!
罪名是亵渎上帝
The charge is blasphemy.
他应被处死
He deserves to die!

你是他的随从之一
You're one of his men!

No. I-I'm not.
这人是拿撒勒人的门徒
This man is one of the Nazarene's men!
我不认识他你们认错了
I-I don't know him. You're mistaken!
这人跟这个”神的儿子"同行
This man walks with this "Son of God"!
我没有我不认识他
I do not! I don't know him!
我从未见过他
I've never seen him before!
把他带走

Governor.
拿撒勒人受到人♥民♥的欢迎坚定了
The Nazarene's popularity has strengthened
奋锐党人反抗我们的决心
The Zealots' resolve to rise against us.
奋锐党第二圣殿时期政党

他的审判可能引发反叛
His trial could trigger rebellion.
一个犹太人的言辞对抗整个罗马的力量吗
The word of one Jew against the might of Rome?

My kingdom is not of this world.

我为此而生也为此来到世间
I was born and came into this world
特为给真理作见证
To testify to the truth.
凡属真理的人就听我的话
Everyone on the side of the truth listens to me.

什么是真理
What is truth?
我没找到控诉他的理由
I find no basis for a charge against him.

See how they come in their hundreds of thousands

to keep themselves in God's favor.

It is undeniable that the temple is a great focal point

against the Nazarene's desire to sweep them away.

My one regret is that you involved the Governor.

It was necessary to call upon the full force of Roman law.

The Nazarene's crucifixion sends a message
给那些可能挑战我们辛苦保卫的一切的人
to all who might challenge what we labor so hard to uphold.

You did the right thing.
是否正确还不好说
That is open to question.
日复一日越来越多的人被拿撒勒人
Day by day, more and more people were being seduced
简单的说教所引诱蒙蔽
by the Nazarene's simplistic homilies.
我们必须要揭穿他
He had to be exposed.
然后如此残忍♥地处决他吗
And so brutally executed?
我的丈夫只是做了
My husband took a decision
任何大祭司都会做的决定
any high priest would have taken.
或许我的方法与我在职期间
Though my methods may have differed
会有所不同
during my time in office,
但我追求的目标跟他一致
I would have pursued the same objective.
根本不需要伤害一条无辜的生命
It was the needless death of a harmless soul.
无辜
"Harmless"?
他威胁到了我们所呈现
He threatened everything we represent
让人♥民♥所相信的一切
and these people believe in.
约瑟为了上帝之国
The life of one man is as nothing, Joseph,
一条贱命不足为惜
for the sake of God's nation.

Floating above the daily grime of public affairs.

Without actions to test them,

his opinions are fruitless.

Share this feast. We're hungry.
那个拿撒勒人声称自己能死而复生
Is it correct the Nazarene alleged
是真的吗
he would rise from death?
不过是他无数荒唐言论
One of his many outrageous claims
和无稽预言中的一则罢了
and crude manipulations of prophecy.
那就要确保在他
Then ensure he dies swiftly
行最后一骗之前尽快结果掉他
before he has the chance to perform a final deception.
该亚法在第一颗星星升起之前
Before the first star, Caiaphas.
在这群流浪汉
Before the very sight of the rogue

is allowed to pollute our celebrations.

Why have you forsaken me?
有两件事要禀报总督
Two items, Governor.
一是大祭司该亚法要求
A request to expedite the death of the Nazarene
尽快处死那个拿撒勒人
from high priest Caiaphas
二是有人请求在拿撒勒人死后取回他的尸体
And a petition to repossess the Nazarene's body upon death.
是谁要取回尸体
Who requests the body?
是一个
A Jewish elder
因公会处决拿撒勒人而烦恼的犹太长者
troubled by the Sanhedrin's persecution of the Nazarene.

His name?
亚利马太的约瑟
Joseph of Arimathea.
两个请求都准了
Grant each request.
他们鹬蚌相争
Keeping them at each other's throats
我们正好坐收渔翁之利
prevents them from wrapping their fingers around ours.
还有让哥尼流
And have Cornelius
把那个拿撒勒人放下来吧
put the Nazarene out of his misery.
这场戏看得可还开心
Are you enjoying the spectacle?

你把拿撒勒人的钉刑看成一场戏
Is that how you regard the crucifixion of the Nazarene?
