Tantalum is really a key component of modern cell phones...

because it has some very attractive properties.

It's a very light metal.

Uh, it's also non-corrosive, and it's heat-resistant.

But most importantly, tantalum holds a charge very, very well.

All cell phones need an energy reserve...
