some Lebanese food and sweets, and some of his clothes, et cetera,

and we spent a few days in Tokyo together.

Obviously, it's not a short trip.

But I also knew that my father wasn't able to communicate with Ghosn directly,

It was in December, so the seas are very rough,

Couldn't go through a commercial airport.

generally don't get scrutinized that often.

We ended up with private plane.

Hiring a plane, it's easy if you have the cash.
