You can hear these testimonies of more than a dozen boys

The thing is, the moment you acknowledge that it's real,

then you have to do something about it.

And Japanese society has to do something about it.

When Bunshun magazine published the story in 1999,

it didn't get the kind of response you'd expect.

In fact, it sank like a brick.
