"And the Lord made an east wind blow across the land,

刮在埃及地上
all that day and all night.
东风把蝗虫刮了来
And the wind had brought the locusts.

They invaded all Egypt.
落在埃及的四境 甚是厉害
Settled down in every part of the country in great numbers.

They covered all the ground until it was black.

They devoured all that was left after the hail.

Everything growing in the fields. The fruit on the trees.

Nothing green was left in any part of the land of Egypt.
埃及人违背了 对以色列人立的誓
The Egyptians had broken their promise to the Israelites
耶♥和♥华♥便向他们降了蝗灾
and God punished them with a plague

that made the sky dark, and the land barren."
