As soon as we painted the cattle with eyes, this tiger immediately shifted.

Probably, tiger realized that there's cattle now

who can see on both sides,

who can see from the front and who can see from the back.
我们下次去那座村子时
And the next time when we went to that village,
每个人都带牛群来画眼睛
every person came with cattle for painting.

They said, "Oh, please paint our cattle. It's good. It's helping us."

Bilal now plans to roll out this simple idea

across the whole of India.

一切都始于十年前
It all started a decade ago
有人请比拉尔解决一个很重要的问题
when Bilal was asked to solve a major problem.

Young tigers looking for a new territory
却在往往相距几百哩的保护区之间
struggle to find their way between reserves,
找不到方向
which are often hundreds of miles apart.

They face many obstacles on their journey...
但是有个障碍最难克服…
But there's one barrier that's toughest of all.
也就是公路
Highways.
建于一百多年前
Built over a hundred years ago,
44号♥国道是印度最古老的公路
the NH44 is India's oldest highway,
范围延伸到全国各地
spanning the length of the entire country.
这里有道路
We have roads.
车流量很大
We have a lot of traffic
因此实际上
which actually make it impossible
让这些动物的行动完全受限
for these animals to go from one place to other place.
有些老虎经过数千哩路
Some tigers travel thousands of miles,
但是遇上公路时…
but when they meet the highway...
就只好掉头
they have to turn back.
比拉尔的解决办法很简单
Bilal's solution was simple,
也就是建造高架道路 让老虎能从下方经过
to lift the road up to allow the tigers to travel underneath,
打造野生动物廊道
creating a wildlife corridor.
这要花费25亿元
It cost two and a half billion dollars.
这是世上最大的野生动物下穿道
It's the world's biggest wildlife underpass
有九个高架路段
with nine elevated sections.
这拯救了无数的老虎性命
And it's saving the lives of countless tigers.

When I stand there and look on those massive structures

which our country has built for the tigers
