当你几年前开始做一个工程
When you start a project all those years ago
然后突然间你就看到了这个
and then suddenly you get here
看到这个美丽的生物从天花板往下潜
and you've got this beautiful creature diving from the ceiling.
这时候再回头看感觉很奇妙
It's kind of strange to look back.
我真觉得我们创造了独一无二的东西
I honestly feel that we've created something totally unique here.
我希望它能引发人们思考
It's something that I'm hoping will make people think
人类作为一个物种都做过些什么
about what we've achieved as a species
能够拯救这些动物不致灭绝
by saving these animals from extinction,
这也是对未来的一个讯号♥
and it's a message for the future.
我们和地球上其他物种之间
We need to apply that same level of compassion and cooperation
也需要这种同理心与合作精神
to the rest of the planet.
-其实我们都是地球一员对吧 -没错
- We're all in it together, basically, aren't we? - Yeah.

126 years ago,
一条雌性蓝鲸在爱尔兰海岸
a female blue whale got into trouble
陷入困境而后死去
off the coast of Ireland and died.
不久之后只留下她的遗骸
Before long, only her bones remained.
最终它们抵达了
They eventually found their way
伦敦的自然历史博物馆
to the Natural History Museum in London.
现在在这个宏伟的门厅里
Now, in the grand entrance hall,
她终于可以自♥由♥遨游
she finally flies free.
恐龙时代已经结束
The day of the dinosaur is over,
蓝鲸
and the whale,
象征着当今我们蓝色星球上生命的动物
an animal that symbolises life on our blue planet today,
取而代之
takes its place.
在此她将永远自在遨游
She is free to swim here forever,
启迪着新一代
to inspire a new generation
讲述自然界的奇迹
about the wonders of the natural world,
也时刻提醒我们奇迹是多么的脆弱
and to remind us just how fragile it really is.
