he was face to face with a mean, old black bear.

Now Eustace was terrified,

so he did the only thing he could think to do.

He turned back again?
他举起了拳头准备战斗
He put up his fists to fight.
"嘿懦夫" 他大喊着
"Hey, coward," He yelled.
"我猜你肯定想吃我一拳"
I bet you want a piece of this.
出人意料的是尽管是虚张声势
Well, wouldn't you know, despite is bravado,
熊还是对尤斯塔斯发起了进攻
the bear charged Eustace anyway.
所以尤斯塔斯做了他唯一能想到的事
So Eustace did the only thing he could think to do.

I don't have clue.
尤斯塔斯太难猜了
Eustace is proving unpredictable.
他躺下装死了
He laid down and played dead.
熊把他虐了个半死但还是留下了他的小命
The bear mauled half of him, but kept him alive.
由于身上多了很多可怕的伤口
Now on account of his horrific wounds,
尤斯塔斯没法继续走下去了
Eustace was unable to travel,
所以他做了他唯一能想到的事
so he did the only thing he could think to do.
他在这个叫做"康利叉"的地方安营扎寨了
He made camp in this very place we call Conley Fork.
