Ezra is a Turkish Cypriot.

Her family was one of thousands, from both sides,

uprooted by the conflict.

My parents are from the south of Cyprus,

and they had to flee,

and, of course, this changes

It takes away from the culture.

So, there's almost been a degree of social engineering, then?

Definitely, definitely there has been.

of Turks to settle here,
