The ideal shelter in the event of an asteroid impact,

is not unlike a bomb shelter built during the Cold War.

It must be deep underground, 10 feeter so below the surface.
避难所得有自己配套的电源和水源
It must have its own power source and water supply,
空气进来时必须先经过过滤
air must be filtered from the outside,

and an effective sanitation system is key.

Without out realizing it, the survivors underground

are doing just what their mammalian ancestors did 65 million years ago.

and the trouble is it keeps changing.

But finally, the smoke clears.

12 months after impact,

the Sun peeks out of the clouds.

65 million years ago,

the Sun return to a world without dinosaurs.

Luckily most scientists believe that

Humanity has been bombed back to the Stone Age.

We're going to be living that kind of Mad Max existence,

you have to dig down and get those cans of dog food,
总之你会想尽一切办法来寻找食物
or whatever it takes to get.
如果人类成功躲过了这场发生在未来的撞击大灾难
If mankind manages to avoid extinction during a future impact,
我们是躲过了这场浩劫
that just means that we survived,
但这并不意味着我们能守住高科技
it doesn't mean necessarily that we survive with high technology.
适合在这个世界生存的人
Those people suited to this world
不一定是之前最功成名就的
are not necessarily those that were most prosperous before.

We like to think of the survivors as being someone from the big city,

It's probably much more likely that will be

People are already living a low-tech lifestyle,

they will have to adapt to living without high technology.

Because they haven't been living with it all along.

By going underground, mankind has managed to survive the darkest days of armageddon,
但是能够存活下来的人数非常的少
but there are very few of us left,
而且在这个环境恶劣的异世界中 大家都不知道要怎么才能生存下来
and there is no clear path to survival in this harsh alien world.
现在有很多空地让动物们栖息
With so much empty space for life to inhabit,
我们应该也要搞清楚有什么动物
we should also consider what animals
能从这样的大灾难中受益最多
would benefit the most from this type of disaster.
