So how do we change that?

Maybe Something Like A Spontaneous Overflow of emotion.
比如一段真挚的感情?
Spoken like a true romantic.

不行 如果你带着情感写作 会很自私
No, if you're writing emotionally, you're writing selfishly.
你没有与听众连接起来
You're not connecting with your audience.
那么 读者不能连接一个有灵魂的故事吗?
So, readers don't connect to a story with soul?
究竟是要响应听众去完美地规划情节
Is it a well outlined plot you most respond to,
还是去流露你人生经历的真情实感?
or emotion that reflects your own human experience?
这取决于故事的来源
What matters is where it comes from.
它来源于你
That it comes from you.
没错
That's right.
这是对的 所以说
That is right, and in that way,
写作的最佳时机就是 本能
the best moments of writing are instinctive,
揭示自我的时候
showing who we are,
揭示我们自己
and what it is we're processing
真正在做的东西
from a place each our own.

What I imagined god felt like.

But as the tides moved out,

That sun shrunk away

On the journey
