In the white-capped peaks of Alaska,it's late spring.

Soon much of this snow will have melted.

But at the moment it's concealing a cozy home.

The winter den of a mother brown bear and her two tiny cubs.

The cubs were born in here.

They're only a few months old,

and their mother's been looking after them all on her own.
