In China, PE is part of the national exam

that decides which senior high school you get into.
这个考试非常重要
It's very important test,
所以学生们会练习准备很久
so student practice long time.

They do very good.
很多人都能拿到满分
Many of them can get full marks.

In a week's time, the kids face their own final PE exam,

I do think it would be unfair for them
就不能考取顶尖的理工科大学
if they couldn't get into the top science and maths colleges,
对他们太不公平了
just because they can't do sport.
