必有虹现在云彩中
the bow shall be seen in the cloud.
我便记念我与你们
And I will remember my covenant which is between me and you.
和各样有血肉的活物所立的约
And every living creature of all flesh."
洪水过后 挪亚的儿子都生了儿子
And sons were born unto the sons of Noah after the flood.
他们的后裔分散在全地
And of them was the whole Earth overspread.
地上只有一种语言及说话方式
And the whole Earth was of one language and of one speech.
他们是挪亚的后裔
Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah.
雅弗的儿子是歌♥篾 玛各 雅完...
The sons of Japheth: Gamer...
闪的儿子是以拦 亚述 亚法撒...
The sons of Shem: Elam, Asshur...
含的儿子是麦西 弗 迦南 古实...
And the sons of Ham: Mizraim, Phut, Canaan and Cush.
古实又生宁录
And Cush begat Nimrod.
他为世上英雄之首
And Nimrod was a king.
他要建造一座塔 为要传扬他的名
And he set to build a tower that would soar like his pride.
塔顶要通天
A tower that would reach unto Heaven.
建塔时 他的人♥民♥唱着一首歌♥
And his people sang a song as they built the tower:
"谁能拉动宁录的弓"
"Who can bend the bow of Nimrod?
"谁射出的箭够他的强"
Or put strength into the arrow like unto his strength?
"世上没事难得到他"
Nothing is too mighty for him to do
"他的能力是地上最强的"
No power is greater than his
"他统领着地上"
He hath taken the Earth and made it his own
"他能呼雷唤电 像犹太人般"
He stores up the thunder and wears the lightning like a jewel
"宁录的荣耀照遍大地"
The glory of Nimrod shines beyond the sun
"天上地上没有人比他更伟大"
There is none greater than he in Earth or Heaven."
神降临要看看...
And the Lord came down to see the tower...
世人所建造的塔
which the children of men builded.
神说 看哪 他们成为一样的人♥民♥...
And He said, "Behold, the people is one...
都是一样的言语 如今既作起这事来
and they have all one language. And this they begin to do.
以后他们所要作的事...
And now nothing will be restrained from them...
就没有不成就的了
which they have imagined to do."
我的弓
My bow.
我们下去 在那里变乱他们的口音...
"Let us go down and confound their language...
使他们的言语彼此不通
that they may not understand one another's speech."
留在原地 听我的命令
Stand your ground. Obey me!
重建被摧毁的塔
Make good what has been brought down.
我是宁录 我的说话就是命令
Am I not Nimrod? And my voice is your commandment!

What words are these?
这个疯子 一口胡言
Babbling fool! Madness is in his mouth!
你在嘲弄本王吗
You mock your king's tongue?
竟像猴子喳喳叫般冒犯我
Shall a monkey gibber against me?
所以那城名叫巴别
Therefore is the name of it called Babel.
因为耶♥和♥华♥在那里变乱天下人的言语...
There the Lord confounded their language...
使众人分散在全地上
and scattered them abroad upon the Earth.
神等了十代 终等到亚伯兰的出生
The Lord waited 10 generations for a man called Abram to be born.
他出生于迦勒底的吾珥
He was born in Ur of the Chaldees.
他长大后 一日神对亚伯兰说
And when he had come of an age, the Lord said:
你要离开本地...
"Get out of thy city and thy country...
本族 父家...
from thy kindred and from thy father's house...
往我所要指示你的地去
unto a land that I will show thee.
我必叫你成为大国 我必赐福给你...
I will make of thee a great nation...
叫你的名为大
and I will bless thee and make thy name great."
亚伯兰就照着耶♥和♥华♥的吩咐去了...
So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him...
侄儿罗得也和他同去...
with Lot, his brother's son...
还有他的爱妻撒莱...
and Sarai, his wife, whom he loved...
和他们所积蓄的财物...
and all their substance that they gathered...
所得的人口...
and the souls they had gotten...
都带走了 开展一段地上旅程
and they journeyed like strangers on the Earth.
他们不知道该到哪里去
They journeyed not knowing whither they went.
跟随神所指示方向行
And yet the land lay before them as the Lord had promised.
日以继夜向前行
And the mornings and the evenings pointed the way.
来吧 来吧
Come!Come!
直到一山上
The hills revealed it.
从你所在的地方...
Lift up now thine eyes...
你举目...
and look from the place where thou art...
向东西南北...
northward and southward...
观看...
and eastward and westward...
凡你所看见的一切地...
for all the land which thou seest...
我都要赐给你和你的后裔...
to thee will I give it...
直到永远
and to thy seed forever.
我们真的能平安地继承这地
Shall we indeed inherit this country in peace?
这是迦南人的地方
For the Canaanites go about the land.
神的旨意...
The understanding of God...
是我们不明白的
is not our understanding.
我们会得到什么或怎样才行...
And what shall be brought about and how it is perfected...
这都是我们不能知晓的
is not in our power to know.
神应许...
Only in the promise of what shall come...
给我们繁荣

凭这信念...
And in that trust...
我们挪移帐幕
have we pitched our tents.

Wife.
亚伯兰
Abram.
我的丈夫
My husband.
太阳要下山了 我们可以休息了
The sun has gone down. We have labored until evening.
我每天都把我的爱带来这帐幕...
I bring my love beside you in the tent...
陪伴着你
as day answereth day.
让我的爱人走进他的家园 吃他的丰盛果实
Let my beloved come into his garden and eat his pleasant fruits.
看哪
Behold.
你是我的爱人
Thou art fair, my love.
你是我的爱人
Behold, thou art fair.
我要把美貌隐藏起来...
I have drawn away from my beauty as from a stranger...
这么多年来一直在奔波
for the years have gone with the going down of the sun.
你的美丽很圣洁
Your beauty stands in a sanctuary.
敌人在街上结巴...
The enemy falters in the street...
在市场上有人拔出宝剑
and sheathes his sword in the marketplace.
时间...
Time...
不能穿越这门
cannot pass the door.
这门的强力之锁是爱...
The strong lock of the door is love...
锁匙则...
and the key...
在我的手上
is in my hand.
像丛树中的苹果树...
As the apple tree among the trees of the wood...
儿子中最心爱的人
so is my beloved among the sons.
他的左手在我的头下...
His left hand is under my head...
他的右手拥抱着我
and his right hand doth embrace me.
我的右手拥抱着你...
My right arm covers you...
像黑夜拥抱光明
as the night covers the day.
但亚伯兰的妻子撒莱...
But Sarai, his wife, was barren...
未能给他生儿女
and she had no child.
眼前的土地是神允许给予的
Yet was the land before them as God had promised.
他们挪移帐幕...
And they pitched their tents in the length and breadth of it...
从伯利特到加低斯到书珥 再到埃及
from Bethe! to Kadesh and Shur, even unto Egypt.
撒莱有一个使女...
With Sarai came also her handmaid...
名叫夏甲 是埃及人
Ha9ar, the Egyptian.
他们令地上变得丰盛繁荣...
They learned the wells and fertile places...

Five score.
亚伯兰后裔繁多
and Abram prospered.

Six score.
七
Seven score.
当他们再次来到伯利特时...
And when they came again unto Bethe]...
亚伯兰的牧人...
there was division between the herdsmen of Abram's cattle...
跟罗得的牧人相争
and the herdsmen of Lot's cattle.
你我不可相争
Let there be no strife between thee and me.
你的牧人和我的牧人也不可相争 因为我们是兄弟
And between thy herdsmen and my herdsmen, for we are brethren.
因为我们的财物甚多 这地容不下我们
Our substance is too great for us to dwell together.
我们不能同居于此
The land is not able to bear us together.
遍地不都在你眼前吗
Is not the whole land before thee?
请你离开我
Separate thyself, I pray thee, from me.
你向左 我就向右...
If thou will go left, I will go to the right...
你向右 我就向左
or if thou go right, I will go to the left.
这里看见约旦河的全平原
There below us is the plain of Jordan.
我选择到那里去
And that way I will go.
走这路通去平原的城邑
Toward the cities of the plain.
