That's sure for another film.
真是下部片子的好题材
They are so clever
它们实在太聪明
if they found the new eggs on our raft everything is lost
要是发现这几颗新下的但 我们就前功尽弃了
These pine marten are putting me under real presure
这些松貂给了我很大压力
and to add insult injury they now start sliping in my house.
为了进一步羞辱我 还开始溜进我家
In last a few nights we suspect some of them have come into this kitchen
前几晚 怀疑有几只溜进了这厨房♥
So we have been leaving them a few jam.
我们特地留了些果酱
If we look them well they've been taking on the table
看看就知道 这些都被弄到桌子上
and all the jam has been lipped off.
果酱都被舔光光了
I have to say I think it's literally their footprints.
我敢说这是它们留下的足印
I think it's pretty likely the pine marten is coming in here
我觉得应该是松貂来过了
it's getting out through the window right up here jumping down
是从窗户高处这里 跳进来的
It's ironically that we are setting these rediculously phone trapps
多讽刺 我们还设什么电♥话♥触发装置
to trying to work out their movement
想了解他们的行踪
They are so illusive so intelligent,
它们太狡猾太聪明了
you know we can't see them and we don't get rid of them
不让人找到 却又无处不在
And in here now suddenly we got a pine marten
而且还有只松貂
coming in from the wild into the courtyard,
从野地跑来我们院子
taking food from the kitchen and out together,it's like a robber
跟强盗似的 从厨房♥偷东西吃
we didn't hear anything. looking at these marks down here
还一点动静都没有 看看下面这些抓痕

These are the stretch marks,it's acturlly had really good dig.
都是抓出来的 还都很深
It's like we chasing each other.
感觉我们在互相追捕
Now the only slight consolations
唯一值得安慰的是
is that if the pine marten is busy ridding my kitchen
如果松貂忙着去厨房♥偷食
she might be leaving the diver eggs alone.
也许就会放过潜鸟蛋
To my relief, the diver eggs did finally hatch
幸好 小潜鸟终于孵出来了
and we film them through the adulthood.
我还拍到了它们整个成长♥期♥
I was lucky.
我还算幸运
I achieved one of my goals
实现了其中一个拍摄目标
But the pine marten, it got the better of us.
但是松貂 显然更胜我们一筹
I recognize it was always there
我知道它们就在附近
but she had merely always seeing us before we saw her
但总在我们发现前 就逃之夭夭了
Just for fun we did manage to capture
仅仅为了好玩 我们拍下了
our midnight theft on camera.
这午夜怪盗的行径
It turned out to be the only significant footage we ever got
这竟然成了此次拍摄中 松貂最重要的镜头
That's just the way it is when you making a film about wild animals
拍野生动物的记录片就是这样
Despite your best efforts there are story that work out
不管付出多少艰辛 有些努力会有收获
and those are just get away
有些努力 则只能付诸东流
