It’s humbling to think that they can live for 90 years,

and this very whale could have been alive during the whale hunting days,

when it's species was being massacred by humans....

But I sense no hostility...

only curiosity.

BERTIE: With every lunge, each whale seizes a volume of water and krill
体积大概有校车那么大
the size of a school bus.
在很短的时间内 体型变成两倍
For a short time, it doubles in size.
长须鲸一口可以捕捉一万只磷虾
The Fin Whale can trap 10,000 krill in a single mouthful,
一天能吃掉两吨♥
and swallow up to two tons in a day.

They need a massive amount of energy to power such a huge body.

...it obviously just fed,blasted straight past

with its mouth fully inflated.Just see how big its mouth is.
然后它就这样轻松游过去 我心里在想
And then it just cruised right past and I was thinking,
“哦 快看到尾巴了…”
"Oh, the tail’s got to be coming,the tail’s got to be coming,"
结果好久尾巴才过去
and it just took forever to pass.
从船上看这些鲸鱼很大
I mean, those whales,they look big from the boat,
从无人机上看也很大 但是当它们跟你只距离几英呎
they look big from the drone,but it's on a whole other level
还整个鼓起来时又是另一回事
when they’re a few feet away...(PANTING) ...fully inflated....

The funniest thing is when you look up to see where Calum is

it seems like wildlife is on the back foot,

but here this place is different.I mean, look at it.

And this is what happens when you look after wildlife,

But the whales tagged in this film have been recorded migrating up

Could that be where they go to breed?
